As reported in this BBC article (amongst many others) six couples, supported by Humanists UK, are going to the High Courts next week to try and force change in marriage law.

Their argument is that not recognising humanist weddings in England and Wales is discriminatory and breaches couples’ human rights. The changes sought would bring England and Wales into line with Scotland, Northern Ireland and Jersey as well as much of Europe and the rest of the world.
